Louis Kahn Esherick House (1959-1961)
The first thing that comes into view is the southwest wall and chimney. The chimney thrusts upward from the ground, dissecting the beige, mortar wall, and there are no windows in sight, Thw simple cimposition consisting of a single materical , symmetrical division and contrast between the vertical chimmey and the wall surface offers a peculiar tranquility and that stand out against the surrounding.
